Timothy A. Zaricznyj, EdD
Executive Director
Tim Zaricznyj began his career with Providence working as a resident service coordinator at Providence House in Oakland, California. Since then Tim accepted opportunities for greater responsibility within the organization. In 2007 he was asked to move to Seattle and lead the Providence Supportive Housing ministry. Tim has a Master’s Degree in Counseling and Educational Psychology from the State University of New York at Buffalo and in 2004 received a Doctor of Education degree from the University of San Francisco where he wrote and published a dissertation on home and homelessness: “Righting Home: A Critical Hermeneutic Study of Home, Homelessness and the Spaces In Between.” Tim currently lives and hobby farms on Bainbridge Island, WA.
Duong Nguyen, MSW
Director of Operations
In 2007, Duong Nguyen began his career with Providence working as housing director for Providence Peter Claver House, a property serving low-income seniors in Seattle’s Rainier Valley. Over the subsequent years, he accepted opportunities of greater responsibility such as opening and operating Providence Joseph House in White Center, taking over operations of Providence Elizabeth House in West Seattle. In January 2023, he took over as the operations lead for the Supportive Housing and Recuperative Care (SHARC) programs under construction in Eureka, CA and Anchorage, AK. As Director of Operations effective September 2023, Duong fosters a deep commitment to the mission and core values of Providence and works to ensure all our housing ministries are striving to meet the complex needs of our residents. Duong received his Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Wisconsin in 2007. In his spare time, Duong enjoys board games, food, working out, and music festivals.
Danilo Magno
Director of Finance
Danilo Magno began his career with Providence in December 1992 as an accountant for the Sisters of Providence, Mother Joseph Province, becoming the first lay person to ever fill that role. In 1993, he became the accountant for the Providence Supportive Housing Ministry which at the time comprised only four facilities. Growing up in Manila exposed Danilo to hardship and struggle. His work for Providence Supportive Housing helps maintain perspective and a connection to the Providence mission. Danilo received a Bachelors in Commerce with a major in accounting from San Sebastian College in Manila. On his spare time, Danilo loves spending time with his grandson.
Leslie Hill
Director of Compliance, Quality and Innovation
With more than 20 years’ experience in affordable housing and human services, Leslie Hill brings a wealth of knowledge and skill to Providence Supportive Housing. Leslie strives to make compliance with federal, state, and local regulations straightforward and understandable to the housing staff in our portfolio. But beyond the baseline regulations, there is a higher standard of quality operations, and Leslie seeks to bring our team together to ensure we provide residents with a high-quality experience in our properties. Leslie has a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from Seattle University, along with several affordable housing compliance certifications from the National Center for Housing Management. In her spare time, Leslie engages in adventures at home and abroad, and enjoys drawing, painting and creating.
Walter Zisette
Director of Development
Walter has 20 years of experience in the development of affordable and supportive housing, beginning as a land use planner with the City of Redmond, and then serving for seven years as Vice-President of Real Estate Development for Mercy Housing Northwest. Communities that Walter has helped to develop include affordable housing for low-income immigrant families in Tacoma, affordable family housing for farmworkers in Bellingham, supportive housing for homeless families in Olympia, supportive housing for LGBTQ seniors in Seattle, and housing for African American and Black households at risk of displacement from the Central District neighborhood in Seattle. With this experience, Walter has developed an expertise in many affordable finance programs including low-income housing tax credits, HUD multifamily and public housing programs, and historic tax credits. Walter has a Master’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Southern California. When he can, Walter can be found hiking in the Cascades, Olympics or along the Pacific Coast.
Johnathan Wright, MBA
Project Manager
Johnathan Wright began his career with Providence in 2016 working as an office and then administrative assistant at Providence Gamelin House and Providence Peter Claver House in Seattle, Washington. Since then, Johnathan has gained substantial housing compliance and operations knowledge, experience and greater responsibilities working in this organization. In 2019 Johnathan searched for a way to serve more houses and was given the opportunity as a Senior Administrative Assistant for the Providence Supportive Housing leadership team. In 2021 he was promoted to Project Manager. He now serves all of Providence Supportive Housing in an ever-expanding capacity. Johnathan has received a Bachelor of Psychology, Pre-Med and a Master’s in Business Administration in 2014 and 2016 from Seattle University. In his spare time, being classically trained in opera, he lends his musical talents as the seasonally contracted National Anthem singer for the Seattle Sounders Football Club.
